out of hibernation
Time to get the old blog out of hibernation.
My life is so boring, I have just had nothing to say over the past few weeks.
Christmas came and went, my daughter came and went. She has generated a little excitement by getting herself into loads of debt.
(It's no good me bailing her out as she would just tale that as a sign to start again - anyway I don't have enough money to pay off her debts)
I am currently applying for a new job in the department.... Just updating my CV and composing a letter to say why they should give the job to me...I just can't get my brain into the bullshit mode. - Any help appreciated.
What do you think of this letter ?????????
Version 1
Mr Xxxxxx
I am applying for the post of team coach because I feel that I would find this a more challenging role. I will be able to make better use of the skills I have developed over the past few years.
As you have no doubt seen, my department is unique in organisation and ability. However I don't think that as yet, the full pinnacle of performance has been reached.
Many of the people in the department have demonstrated the ability to embrace convergence and are making good progress in developing appropriate skills, but, as product development moves on then so must people development.
Sometimes I am thought to be a little to lateral in my thinking! I am sure this will be a great advantage in allowing me to develop the skills and productivity of the people
Version 2
Mr Xxxxxxx
I am applying for the post of team coach because I feel that I would enjoy this challenging role. I will be able to make better use of the skills I have developed over the past few years. I would like to become a powerful motivating force within the department.
I am sure this will allow me to develop the skills and productivity of the department people.
Version 3
Mr Xxxxxx

I feel I could become a powerful motivating force within the department.
I am sure this will allow me to develop the skills and productivity of the STC people.
