I am taking a couple of days off work. Not because I particularly want to but because of the Cheshire show.
I have to drive through the show traffic to get to and return from work. Its bad enough on a normal day but these two days are the worst of the year.
The police close roads and the locals can't get where they want to go. We have to take a five mile detour just to get where where we want to be.

How come the police and councils can just close a road - a public right of way, at the drop of a hat !!
Do they not realize just how inconvenient it can be ?
